About Us  / Our Vision

MDI was founded and built on the premise of assisting our clients achieve, and exceed, their goals by maximizing use of data. In 1994 we saw an enormous growing need in the hospitality and meetings industry for data management solutions (harnessing, analyzing, cleaning and mining). As a result, we threw up our shingle and formed Meetings Database Institute (MDI). Since then, we are proud to say the vast majority of our business has been derived from referrals, and for that fact, we are extremely grateful and humbled.

Our foundation is simple - Integrity, Intelligence, Impact. Candidly, it is not about us, it is about you. From day one, we have always kept this mindset as an organization, and continue to do so today.  

Throughout the years there have been (and are) an abundance of outstanding front-end software systems in the marketplace. Our focus however has been and continues to be on the data within these systems to objectively bring incremental revenue and efficiency for our clients. Our office has well over 100+ years of combined experience in database marketing/management, hospitality sales/marketing, meeting growth and industry integrated marketing. We thoroughly understand, and have been practicing impactful data methodologies long before data science became a term. Through our proprietary systems, we use proven data strategies that increase revenue, roomnights and meeting attendance.

Quality information leads to quality decision making. We bring order to a world of data chaos in a trusted and logic based manner. Win the game before it starts.
